In energy storage systems, lithium-ion batteries are mainly used to interact with energy storage converters under high voltage. The converter takes power from the AC power grid to charge the battery pack, or the battery pack supplies power to the converter and passes through the energy converter. The converter converts into AC power and sends it to the AC power grid.

The BMS of electric vehicles has an energy exchange relationship with the electric motor and charger under high voltage.
