Independent shared energy storage refers to the centralized construction method (including self construction, joint construction, and purchase) adopted by multiple new energy stations to meet the requirements of allocated energy storage power and charging time, and integrate them into the energy storage facilities on the grid side. After reaching an agreement between independent shared energy storage and new energy stations, they can participate in the frequency regulation auxiliary service market transactions independently, and the remaining capacity cannot participate in the peak shaving capacity market.

Shared energy storage should clearly define its supporting relationship with relevant new energy stations in the construction filing documents. When the effective capacity provided by energy storage (including shared energy storage) during operation is lower than the required capacity for energy storage in new energy stations, the new energy stations shall be assessed according to the relevant provisions of energy storage operation management.
