The energy storage industry has once again seen policy benefits. Recently, the Energy Administration publicly solicited opinions on the "Blue Book for the Development of New Power Systems (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)". The Blue Book proposes to gradually transform the form of the power system from the three elements of "source network load" to the four elements of "source network load storage", and energy storage will become the fourth major element of the new power system. In order to build a new power system, the Blue Book formulates a "three-step" development path, which is divided into "progress bar" to accelerate the transformation period (current 2030), and promote the construction of a new power system step by step from the power supply side, grid side, user side, and energy storage side. Specifically, on the energy storage side, it is necessary to promote the large-scale development of multi application scenarios and multi technology routes of energy storage in the accelerated transformation period, and multiple new energy storage technologies such as compressed air energy storage, electrochemical energy storage, and thermal energy storage coexist to meet the demand for daily balance regulation of the system.
