For example, the time of use electricity prices in provinces and cities such as Zhejiang, Hubei, Hunan, Shanghai, Anhui, Guangdong, and Hainan have set two peak periods per day, with Guangdong Province having peak periods of 10-12 and 14-19. The peak hours in Hainan Province are from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 22:00 every day.

When there are two peak periods, the industrial and commercial energy storage system can be used to charge during valley hours/daily periods, and discharge separately during the two peak periods, achieving two charges and two discharges per day, thereby improving the utilization rate of the energy storage system and shortening the cost recovery cycle.

On the basis of meeting the requirements of two charges and two discharges per day, we have also found that the time-of-use electricity prices in provinces such as Zhejiang and Hainan have set up peak periods or two valley hours, and the economy of installing industrial and commercial energy storage in such provinces is expected to further increase.

Typical examples include Zhejiang and Hainan, where some provinces and cities have peak periods, which can further expand the benefits of a single peak valley price difference and shorten the cost recovery cycle by utilizing a larger peak valley price difference. For example, Zhejiang has a peak period from 19:00 to 21:00 every day throughout the year, while Hubei has a peak period from 20:00 to 22:00 every day throughout the year. Provinces such as Guangdong and Hainan have also set up peak periods in different seasons.
