What is the testing standard of lithium battery

Time:Dec 09, 2022 Views:535

1. In terms of discharge performance test, the standard requires charging at (20 ± 5) ℃ according to the specified charge discharge ratio and discharging to the termination voltage, and the discharge time shall not be less than the specified value.

2. For high temperature and low temperature performance, side test shall be conducted at (55 ± 2) ℃ and (- 20 ± 2) ℃ [(- 10 ± 2) ℃ for polymer lithium ion battery] respectively. After the test, take out the battery and put it aside for 2h at ambient temperature (20 ± 5) ℃. The battery appearance shall be free of deformation and burst.

3. The cycle life is required to be charged and discharged to the termination voltage with 1C * * at ambient temperature (20 ± 5) ℃, and the next cycle of charging and discharging shall be conducted after being put aside for 0.5-1h until the two consecutive discharges are less than 36min, then the life is considered to be terminated, and the cycle life of the battery shall not be less than 300 times.

4. For overcharge, over discharge and short circuit protection, the battery shall not explode, catch fire, smoke or leak under the specified operating conditions.
