Lithium ion battery energy storage has the advantages of high energy density, low self discharge, no memory effect, wide operating temperature range, fast charging and discharging, long service life, low environmental pollution, and freedom from terrain and other natural conditions. It is the most adaptable technical route in energy storage product development at present, and can be competent for various complex scenarios. It has strong competitiveness in important energy storage fields such as power generation side, user side, and grid side. 1Carry out major strategy and policy research on lithium ion battery energy storage

Focus on key issues such as safety, reliability, energy conversion efficiency and life, strengthen top-level planning and design, study and formulate major strategic plans for the development of lithium-ion battery energy storage industry, and define the industrial development goals, breakthrough directions and key tasks.

Study the technical roadmap to promote the development of lithium-ion battery energy storage technology and industry, constantly improve the policy mechanism and business model, cultivate leading backbone companies, guide stakeholders to work together, and accelerate the implementation of lithium-ion battery energy storage projects.

2Promote the development and implementation of key technical standards

Coordinate relevant units and standardization organizations, and set up a lithium ion battery energy storage standardization committee and working group. From the perspective of system application, comprehensively carry out the research and development of key standards for energy storage planning, design, manufacturing, operation, maintenance and recovery of lithium-ion batteries, establish a technical standard system for mutual support and coordinated development of all links in the whole process, and focus on promoting the research and development of safety and environmental protection standards.

3Deeply carry out safety and quality inspection and certification

Improve the evaluation methods and models for electrochemical performance and safety testing of energy storage batteries, increase the detection frequency in the operation and management stage, and study and establish the safety detection and certification system for lithium ion battery energy storage system.

Cultivate and build a number of comprehensive detection platforms and certification institutions for lithium-ion battery energy storage, strengthen service functions, prevent and resolve various risks, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of lithium-ion battery energy storage industry.
