When it comes to charging lithium batteries, we all know that lithium batteries are not resistant to overcharge and overdischarge, which is also in order to make the battery cycle life and use time longer. No matter how good the battery is, it will fail if you do not pay attention to maintenance. The biggest hazard of lithium battery is overcharge and discharge, and there is a risk of explosion if you do not use it properly. But also do not feel afraid, the safety performance of lithium battery itself is good, but because of long-term damage to lithium battery, and lead to lithium battery to stop using, disrupted its original mechanism.
Therefore, we need to pay special attention to the following situations, the standard operation and safe use of lithium batteries is very important, especially when charging at ordinary times, but not at will to use unqualified charger charging, or inappropriate charging methods, and bad habits will affect the use of lithium batteries.
1, do not use the original charger charging. Lithium battery charging, must use Pu Xunyuan factory lithium battery charger for charging, do not use lead-acid battery charger, coin machine fast charging, quick charging station, and charging parameters do not match the charger for charging.
2. Charge check. Before charging, please check whether the appearance of the battery is normal, touch the battery shell with your hand, whether there is hot phenomenon, whether the charging port has water stains, foreign bodies, etc., do not charge the battery with bulging battery shell, do not hot the battery shell, charging port has water stains, foreign bodies, etc.
3. Eliminate risks. Insert the charger, check whether the appearance of the charger is clean, and check whether the power cable is sufficient. For the charger with fan heat dissipation, check whether there is any foreign matter blocking the heat dissipation hole of the fan. Ensure that the battery and charger are not exposed to rain or other possible safety accidents. If water and other liquids enter the charger, the charger will be directly damaged or even directly hurt the battery.
4. Keep away from inflammable and explosive areas. When charging the battery, ensure that there are no flammable, explosive or other combustible materials within 5 meters around the battery. Remove the above items or move the battery to a safe and reliable place for charging. Do not bring the battery indoors for charging, and do not place the battery within 3 meters of heat source for charging.
5. Do not use the charger whose battery and charger parameters do not match to charge the battery. Ensure that the charger parameters are consistent with the battery parameters. Otherwise, the charger may be damaged or the battery may be overcharged.
